Gua Kelam or Dark Cave is situated in Kaki Bukit, a very small town just about 15km from the border of Thailand. It is a famous tourists spot in Perlis. There is a hanging wooden bridge in the cave. It is about 450m long and beneath it is a river. The cave is decorated with colourful light so it looks beautiful. There is another way to the cave but you have to climb it. It will take about 15 minutes to reach the top of the cave. In the other side of the cave, there is a river for us to swim. Besides, there is also a campsite.
To go to cave 2, we have two methods. Ones can either go by train or walk. To go by train you have to pay RM5 and the railway station just at the entrance. If ones choose to walk, you can use the ladder to climb up about 10m then there is a tunnel for you to walk to cave 2. Dark Cave is suitable for both adult and children. It maybe close during rainy seasion if the water level beneath the bridge is too high.
