Irau Mountain is located in the state of Pahang and is 2110m above sea level. It is the 9th tallest mountain in Penisular Malaysia. Although Irau is above 2000m but it is easy to reach the summit as the starting point is already about 1850m above sea level. The hike point start from Sungai Palas Boh Plantation Cameron Highlands and ended at the summit Irau mountain. It take about 3 hours for a regular hiker to reach but for newbies it may take at least 4 to 6 hours. Although it is easy to reach the summit but ones have to use both hands and legs all the way. Due to the cool climate, the hikers can see various type of mosses and monkey cup along the way.
